Limited warranty Terms

Please make sure to read the manual(s) provided with each Hiland product before your first ride. These manuals contain important safety information, as well as instructions on assembly, use, and maintenance. Registering your Hiland bicycle at www.hilandbikes.com upon purchase is recommended, although not required to take advantage of this Warranty. Doing so will enable Hiland to provide better service in the future.

Hiland warrants its Products for a limited time from the date of original retail purchase against defects in materials and workmanship when used normally in accordance with Hiland’s published guidelines, including technical specifications, user manuals, and service communications.

The following applies if you are the original retail purchaser of the Products:

Hiland-branded frames and framesets: The structural integrity of the frame or frameset is warranted to the original retail purchaser for a period of two (2) years from the date of original retail purchase. Paint and graphics are not included in this definition. Suspension forks and suspension parts are not included in the definition of frame or frameset. However, you can register for a lifetime warranty within ninety (90) days from the date of original retail purchase, and Hiland will warrant the structural integrity of the frame or frameset for as long as you own the product.

1-year LIMITED Warranty from the date of original retail purchase. This includes parts such as motors and other drive system components on electric bicycles.

This Limited Warranty only covers the original owner of an ebike purchased from Hiland’s online or physical storefront. The Warranty Period begins upon your receipt of the ebike and ends immediately upon the earlier of the end of the Warranty Period or any sale or transfer of the ebike to another person. The Limited Warranty does not apply to any subsequent owner or other transferee of the ebike under any circumstances.

To use this warranty, a dated proof of original retail purchase must be submitted to Hiland. During the warranty period, the product will be repaired by Hiland or, at Hiland's option, replaced with the same or most similar product available at the time. This is because we do not keep inventory forever, so we may not have the exact replacement part or the exact color. If a replacement product is offered, it will need to be returned to Hiland before a replacement can be offered, unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Hiland. You will not be charged for shipping the product to Hiland or for receiving any replacement product incurred during the processing of the warranty.

UNCOVERED ITEMS

This Warranty is void under the following circumstances and does not apply to damage caused by any of the following occurrences:

  1. Improper assembly or installation

  2. Crash, neglect, improper repair, improper maintenance, or other abnormal, excessive, or improper use. Like overloaded caused motor or controller short circuit.

  3.  Corrosion

  4. Improper alteration or installation of components, parts or accessories not originally intended for or compatible with the Product;

  5. Failure to perform maintenance or service at appropriate intervals in accordance with the written instructions provided with the Product
